I understand that circumstances can change. This policy outlines the terms for project cancellation and refunds for my freelance design services. I strive to be fair and transparent while protecting both parties' interests.
Please read this policy carefully before engaging my services.
Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel a project, please notify me as soon as possible. The refund amount depends on the project stage:

Note: The 50% advance payment covers initial consultations, research, and concept development. This portion is generally non-refundable once work has begun.

Cancellation by Me
In rare circumstances, I may need to cancel a project. This may happen due to:
- Unforeseen personal emergencies or health issues
- Client violates terms of agreement
- Requested work conflicts with my ethical standards
- Non-payment as per agreed schedule
In such cases:
- You will receive a full refund for work not yet completed
- All completed work will be delivered to you
- I will provide reasonable notice and assist with transition if needed
Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
- Refunds will be made through the original payment method
- Bank transfer fees (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount
Important: Third-party costs (hosting, domains, stock images, premium fonts) are non-refundable once purchased on your behalf.
Project Pause / Hold
If you need to temporarily pause a project:
- Projects can be paused for up to 30 days without penalty
- Pauses beyond 30 days may require re-scoping and additional charges
- Priority scheduling cannot be guaranteed after a pause
- Please provide at least 48 hours notice for pausing
Abandoned Projects
A project is considered abandoned if:
- No communication for 30+ days without prior notice
- Required content/feedback not provided within agreed timeframe
- Scheduled payments are not made as agreed
For abandoned projects:
- No refund will be issued
- Work completed to date will be delivered
- Any pending balance becomes due immediately
Dispute Resolution
If you're not satisfied with the work or have concerns:
- Please contact me directly to discuss your concerns
- I will work with you to find a fair resolution
- If we cannot reach an agreement, mediation may be considered
- This policy is governed by the laws of India
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Rush job surcharges once work has begun
- Domain registration and hosting fees
- Stock images, fonts, or plugins purchased
- Third-party services or subscriptions
- Consultation time already spent
